For those reading reviews wondering about this bar: it’s absolutely amazing. Just go. Papercut has the most beautiful selection of house curated cocktails, spirits, & local art. They recently opened a chef driven sushi spot in the back room with a fun small vending machine/interactive area. They also have a divine sake/spirit list to go with anything you may want to accompany with your bites from the sushi bar. Everything here is curated & made with love, experience, & thought. Definitely make this a stop on the itinerary.

Incredibly friendly servers from start to finish and delicious drinks. Tried 4 different drinks, all amazing. Expect 18-20$ per drink. Sushi pop up-can order right to the bar got the king salmon nigiri and it was to die. Can’t wait for the full Restaraunt in 1.5 months. Thoughtful concept. Highly recommend.

We didn't get food - only drinks - so this is all about the adult beverages. We all enjoyed the artwork, and the story about the birth of this cool, eclectic place that humbly shares copious quantity of good karmic energy along with tasty libations.

I visited Paparcut last night with my family to celebrate a couple of birthdays, and the experience was fantastic. The atmosphere was vibrant, and both the drinks and food were delicious and unique. I highly recommend Paparcut for a night out, especially for a nightcap. Great place to celebrate special occasions!

Edit / Update: I wanted to add an update after my original review. The team reached out and invited us back, and the experience this time really showed how much they care about their guests. Huge thanks to Dragan, Bear, and the entire staff for welcoming us back and going above and beyond to make things right. They were incredibly kind and hospitable, the service was attentive throughout the night, and the drinks were just as fantastic as we remembered, easily some of the best in Austin. It meant a lot that they took the time to turn our experience around, and I’m really glad we gave it another visit. Looking forward to coming back again and I’d definitely encourage others to give them a try. --- Came by on 2/28 with a friend visiting from out of town because I’d heard great things. Service started off strong, and honestly the drinks were some of the best I’ve had in Austin. Unfortunately after our second round things stalled. Our original server mentioned there would be a handoff, but after that we weren’t checked on again. We ended up sitting for 30+ minutes after our last order without anyone asking if we wanted another round or even refilling water. It was a bit confusing since it wasn’t particularly busy at the time, and it turned into a disappointing experience overall. It’s a shame because we both really enjoyed the drinks and were hoping to order more.

As for the cocktails themselves, each one is a little work of art. They’re inventive, absolutely delicious and thoughtfully crafted to surprise you. Whether you’re into classic flavors or something more experimental, there’s a drink here that will have you coming back for more. In short, Papercut is a place where top-notch hospitality meets a truly memorable drinking experience! Once you experience it, you’re gonna wanna come back!

Really cool craft cocktail bar with incredible sushi! Bartenders are obviously knowledgeable and passionate. I had the mexican appletini and the mai thai, both were incredible, as well as the otoro and kinmedai nigiri. The cocktails I had were balanced and stout, and the nigiri was the best I've ever had; the otoro was worth the splurge. Cant wait to come back :)

Have been here 4-5 times already and LOVE the rotating menu and artwork. Usually can get in to grab a drink before dinner. Highly suggest to sit at the bar and watch the artistry take place. Good soup is probably my favorite cocktail and glad they keep it on the menu…but it’s hard to go wrong with any drink especially when you align with the bartender on your taste profile. Probably best cocktail bar in Ausitn right now, IMO.

All the cocktails we tried were great! The bartenders were super friendly and happy to help if you want to try new flavors. The place has a modern vibe. You might also like to know the artwork on the walls changes from time to time—it’s used as an art gallery too. Enjoy!

Exceptional bar!! I cannot speak highly enough of the chefs, they were a joy to talk with and dished out the most amazing food. The drinks were phenomenal as well! Everything about this establishment is so well done from the ambiance to the cleanliness to the quality of their menu. Highly highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for a nice bar to stop by at night. If you’re visiting Austin, put this place on your list!
